URBAN COWGIRL AESTHETIC
As far as I know this specific style does not have it’s own name, which I think it deserves. You could call it boho, but with the edgy boarding on gothic elements, I don’t think that fits.
These outfits are all over the place, but one common theme is (usually) a western style boot/clog.
Large belt buckles, boot cut jeans, gingham, teal jewelry, denim jackets and cowboy hats for your western elements. These pieces can be as subtle or as dramatic as you want. Most of these outfits don’t look inherently “cowgirl”, but when you separate the pieces there is certainly a western/americana influence.
Americana at its finest- true denim, tall boots, leather belts, and suede fringe. These pieces are truly best found at the thrift or your local vintage store. The more worn in and cigarette burns the better.
