BAR CART
A must have for EVERYONE and here’s why
I know this isn’t exactly a novel purchase, but it really is a must have. Technically I have had this for a little over one year, but that just goes to show it can last through a move!
Even if you don’t drink you can convert yours into a coffee cart! Or just use it as a way to display your fancy glasses.
If you love thrifting or antiquing as much as I do, a bar cart is the best way to show off your new finds. It is a forever changing piece of decor in your house that keeps things….fresh. 😉 Plus it’s a fun, easy way to decorate for holidays!

This is the same brand as the one I bought, but it looks like they have made a few upgrades in the past year! It is one of the most inexpensive options available and has never done me dirty! Keep in mind you really aren’t going to be wheeling this thing around, so don’t go overboard with the price. A cheap one can sit in your house and look pretty just as easily as an expensive one.

Duvet Cover

I was, and am, obsessed with red gingham print anything. It blew up last spring, and I really never recovered. I mention this because I was about to spend 400 f*cking dollars on bedding from Piglet in Bed because I wanted this print so badly. Then I found this dupe on Amazon for a normal price.

Here is the duvet and cover I actually bought! I would recommend buying one size bigger than your bed if you want that “floppy” look.

Art
Antiquing is probably one of my favorite past times. It’s a great way to accumulate art for your home that’s unique, and *sometimes* affordable. Plus you will always have that memory of when and where you found the piece!
Make a day out of it. Invite your grandma, or your mom they will love it! Don’t over think where you are going to hang it either, my walls are forever changing.
One of my favorite buys is this huge wooden frame. Frames are so expensive, and can be super boring. Even though this one is clearly beat, it’s more exciting to look at than my plain black frames.
Black Blazer
I am obsessed with this H&M blazer. It literally fulfills all of my needs and wants in all of life. I owned it for about a year before I even wore it, but once I did I was throwing this baby over every outfit.
You can make it dressy, sl*tty, or casual as I have demonstrated here. I also hate ruining my outfit with a coat when its cold out. Not that the blazer will get you through a blizzard or anything, but from the Uber to the bar it does the trick.

Nine West Heels
Everyone needs a neutral pair of pointed heels, they have the ability to pull any look together.
I got mine at a Nordstrom Rack for like 20 dollars. Unfortunately I couldn’t find them online for that same price, but they are on amazon for $57!
The first day they were slightly uncomfortable, but after that nothing! I am not kidding, they are the most comfortable pair of heels I own.
Pointed heels make your legs look longer and your outfit c*ntier, it’s science!
I am going to give you guys some more options, but truly I am in love with the pair I have. If you need a go to heel the Nine West ones are it. You can WEAR THEM ANYWHERE.

Rugs

No but I am actually not kidding about that hashtag.
I put off buying area rugs for like… until this year. They are kind of an expensive commitment & that felt so ungodly nerve wrecking to me. There are a trillion rugs in the universe what if I bought one and then found another one that I liked better?!
(This is so corny) But finding these two particular rugs felt like the moment I put my wedding dress on for the first time. I just new the second I saw them that they were the perfect ones for their spaces and I bought them instantly, LOL!
Neve settle for guy OR a rug apparently.
Nothing has made me feel more at home than these d*mn rugs. spaces feel so much more comfortable and “us” if that makes sense. Aside from feeling more comfortable I feel really proud of my home and get genuinely excited to host and have people over.
We got both of these off of Ruggable. I honestly don’t think I will buy a rug anywhere else. They have SO many options at affordable price ranges. Plus they are machine washable! Unfortunately, the flower one in our bedroom isn’t sold on Ruggable anymore but I did find it on amazon so that’s where the link on the photo is going to take you!

This was actually my VDAY gift last year, round of applause for Keaton!
This is another item that makes me feel proud of my space. I feel like everyone needs at least one statement item/attention grabber in their house & this is ours.
Although she can be a B to decorate around, we (& everyone who enters our home) love her!
Tattahome is the definition of cool girl aesthetic for interior design. Anytime I am searching for something ‘uniquely me’ to put in our home they are my go to. They legit have EVERYTHING. Flooring, table tops, wall paper, kitchen ware, bathtubs, lighting.. you name it they have it. If I were to ever design my own house this is 100% where I would go.

I feel like it just made sense to put these two in the same category because I love both of them for the same exact reasons.

They are extremely flattering. Suck you in in all the right places so you can be at ease all day.

For once in my life I have a pair of sweats and jeans that actually fit the length of my legs without having to special order them in a different length.
I feel like everyone has ‘their’ brand or specific style of jeans and after YEARS, my search has finally come to an end. Favorite part is that I have gotten both the leather and denim for around $50! Always keep an eye out for the sales ;).
I am so in love with the quality and variety of Abercrombie jeans that I don’t feel right recommending any other type.
I will recommend other sweats though because I think UO is getting ready to take them off of their website </3.
Knee High Boots
Even if I was really really really really really really really rich, I would still only buy these Amazon knee high boots.
Honest to God, they are the comfiest shoes that I own, basically like walking on pillows. AND the zipper doesn’t scratch the side of my legs so you don’t need long socks if you don’t want! I will say (these) socks are the perfect length if that’s what you prefer. Keaton if you are reading this, yes this is why you never have any socks in your drawer, sorry!!
WHERE TO SHOP MORE OPTIONS
There are hundreds of KHB’s out in the world right now. Truthfully, the ones pictured above are the only KHB’s that I own. SO! I can’t speak on any others being as comfy as those. I will say I have purchased shoes from all options listed below some where a hit some were a miss. Always read reviews before purchasing!

It comes with a matching coin bag! I always keep a small baggie like this in my purse with all the lady essentials (tampons, mints, eye drops, tums, lotion, lipsticks, ect). I feel like the baddest b*tch now that my goodie bag matches my purse.

Digital Camera
I have hated taking pictures since… basically my first memory of taking photos.
The digital camera has 1000000000000% changed my outlook on myself and taking photos. I am not sure if this is a universal experience or maybe just my own perspective but I feel like Iphone’s takes horrendous photos. Somehow they capture any and every imperfection humanly possible.
Cass was actually the one who inspired me to purchase a digital camera. After seeing myself in the photos we would take on her camera I felt confident vs wanting to delete every photo. I feel like my skin glows, you can’t see my forehead wrinkles, & my smile is more even. Plus it’s more fun to take photos’ on an actual camera! ;).
I feel so much more confident in myself & now I genuinely enjoy sifting back through my camera roll vs wanting to delete every image in it.
