There are so many options when it comes to bachelorette themes. There are a few themes that we see repeat themselves like: pretty in pink, last rodeo, and dazed and engaged. This is because those hit every time. That being said if you’re looking for one of your days to be more unique this post is for you.
If you know me, you know themes are my thing. Any day I get to pretend it’s halloween is a good day. So…
Here Are 4 Unique Bachelorette Party Themes, and How to Achieve Them.
I have never seen these themes done before, at least not in the way I am envisioning them, SO PLEASE BRING THEM TO LIFE FOR ME!
Tag @whatsfresh.blog on instagram so I can see them :))
1.) How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days
The bride of course in Andy’s classic yellow dress, and the bridesmaids as her Matthew Mcconaughey’s.
Is this not absolutely killer? The best part about it is that this is so easy, and so chic! A lot of the bridesmaids will likely already have a black blazer, and if not you can get them for cheap (and wear them a million more times)!
For the Bride
Any yellow backless dress will do. Try and look for that silky/satin material if you really want to match Andy!
Try a low bun to achieve Andy’s laid back and chic updo.
If you are a veil girly, I think adding a yellow veil to this look would be totally fresh! 😉
For The Bridesmaids
There are a few different options for the bridesmaids, all equally fabulous!
Dress
The best way to get a uniform look would be to have all the ladies where a blazer dress and preferably black heels.
Chic and Sexy
A blazer with a black mini skirt as the base.
For the top a white dress shirt, black top, or just a black bra.
Thrifty
Being that the movie is from 2003 wearing an oversized thrifted suit coat is a viable option.
2.) Party Animals
Now we have seen versions of this theme before like “girls gone wild”, where everyone wears animal print, and this isn’t all that far off. The catch here is that everyone has on a cute party hat, and no I’m not kidding just trust the vision.
As you can see I like the idea of all the bridesmaids wearing cheetah and the bride wearing white (with cheetah heels). This theme could also work with all the bridesmaids wearing different patterns. As the bride if you wanted to wear a print, I would recommend zebra!
For The Bride
Unfortunately I could not find any party hats with a veil attached. So, find a party hat you like and hot glue a veil, or a piece of tulle to the point. Don’t forget the cheetah heels!
For The Bridesmaids
Kaitlyn can vouch for this dress, so cute and flattering!
3.) The Queen & Her Guard
Channel your inner Princess Diaries, and dress like the (future) queen you are! A long white dress and white gloves for the bride. Red dresses and blue ribbons for the bridesmaids.
I love this as a day time theme for lunch, shopping, or a sip and cycle! Embrace your inner “bachelor” and go as “on of the boys”! Bride in a white button up and her brides maids in black vests and mini skirts. This is perfect if you’re not all that into dressing up, but still want a theme!
