I love all of my personalized and monogramed item’s that you typically receive when you get married and from my students. (cutting boards, matching cups, travel tumblers, tote bags, ect.) Those are for sure special gifts to give to couples when they first get married and are celebrating their new name or to a teacher who looses basically anything and everything humanly possible.
But when it comes time to give gifts around birthday’s, anniversary’s or holiday’s, it’s nice to give a gift a little more personal/sentimental than something random you think they would like to have just because you have to give them a gift.
When you take the time to truly think about someone, taking into consideration their interests/hobbies/your relationship, it means eons more than a little trinket they will most likely bring to Goodwill in a year or so.
Every time they use that item, they will think of you and how special it was for you to take the time to create something so personal for them. Truly unforgettable.

I might be biased because this gift was actually the inspiration behind this post but it truly is one of my favorite gift ideas because there are soooo many ways to personalize it!
You can personalize this gift in 3 easy steps
1. Choose the style of shoe you think your person will like and wear the most.
2. Choose the color of shoe.
3. Pick out the giblets.
When it comes time to pick out the giblets please for the love of God do not pick out random ones or bulk packs. Truly think about your person. What are their favorite hobbies, styles, colors, movies, places to go? Are there any giblets you can buy pertaining to experiences that you have had together or any that display some kind of meaning for your person?
Crocs website is a great place to start when looking for giblets but they do not have a very wide variety. I searched on Amazon and Etsy but have also seen giblet stands in a couple of the malls near me as well. I will say that Amazon mostly sells packs which is kind of unfortunate. Etsy honestly was the most convenient place to find the giblets plus, then you are supporting small business. They basically had a giblet for anything and everything that I typed in the search bar plus they do sell individual giblets which was exactly what I was looking for.

Purr and Mutt is the purrfect (ha ha see what I did there) gift for your animal obsessed bestie.
Their site is incredibly easy to use, affordable and they have an INSANE amount of options for you to choose from.
I honestly had no idea that Purr and Mutt made items other than portraits until I made this blog post. If the person you’re gifting this to isn’t into hanging photos around their home they also sell blankets, coffee mugs, phone cases, and pillows!
Once you choose your style of gift, then you get to choose a theme for the pet portrait. AKA where the personalization comes into play. They have a bunch of different themes for you to choose from (renaissance, movies, multiple pet choices, minimalist options and more.). I went with the western theme because my husband has always been a cowboy at heart and I just thought that fit our dog, Rex, the most.
The best part of Purr and Mutt is that they send you a proof before creating your gift. So if you’re not in love with it, you can always go a different route!

I have researched a multitude of personalized vinyl companies and all are good but very ordinary.
I love the layout of our photos and the personalized font of the playlist on the back. If just makes it feel even more us. Plus there is no one I trust more than Mikkelle when putting a creative vision together!
I think charm jewelry is such a chic cool way to show off your personality so the thought of turning it into a meaningful gift is *chefs kiss*.
I love Hart’s charm jewelry’s website because it is SO easy to create a custom piece, like it literally step by step takes you through the entire process. You get to choose from a necklace or bracelet, a variety of different chain types, and a variety of charms to personalize it with. My favorite part of the website was being able to drag and drop the charms in the specific placements that you want them in.
The only Debbie Downer of Hart is that they really only have gold charms aaannnddd .. they are pretty basic BUT great staples. I feel like for the price and chain selection, Hart is a great starting place and then adding a in 3-5 charms from somewhere else would be the perfect combination.

Let me just preface this with the fact that I know basically nothing about whiskey and I think created a fire customized bottle. That is how simple and easy to understand this website is. It does an amazing job at describing the flavors, undertones and process of which your bottle is going to go through before it makes it’s way to you.
I feel like this would be a sick gift to give to boyfriends, husbands, uncles, dads, your significant others dads, your boss or literally anyone you know of that loves whiskey. Maybe just find a way to subtly figure out what kind of undertones and flavors they prefer before crafting the bottle, LOL.
