Baby It’s Cold Outside..
Below Are 6 Winter Staples To Keep You Feeling Hot This Season.
Kaitlyn and I have each picked three fashion trends that are HOT for this winter. We will try and give you guys options ranging from $-$$$, as always all photos will be linked for you to shop so lets get into it!
First Up Faux Fur Outer Wear
Faux fur coats have been all over my feed, and I am living for it. A fur coat is the perfect way to stay modest, and look sexy at the same time. I have no problem freezing my a** off in the name of fashion, but if you are smarter than me this trend will actually keep you warm. Best part about Faux fur is that there are plenty of affordable options that look expensive.
Winter HATS
We saw detached hoods last season and I think they’re back again this winter. I have a knit version linked here for you, but the puffer coat material is just as cute. We will definitely be seeing the aesthetic Pinterest girlies trade their chunky headphones for furry earmuffs, and lets be honest I am here for it.
I couldn’t decide which would be more popular, berets or lieutenant hats, so I decided to include both (see lieutenant hats under the trapper hats). Although I am partial to the lieutenant hat.
My personal favorite, furry trapper hats! I mean how extra, but also somehow practical if you actually live in the cold. A must have in my opinion.
Last but not least arguably, the most popular hat this season, the faux fur bucket hat.
Leather/Pleather/Vinyl
With the launch of Kylie Jenner’s “affordable luxury” brand centering around pleather pieces, there is no doubt in my mind that we will be seeing it in our winter wardrobes. I wouldn’t mind Kylie’s cropped leather hoodie myself. Leather trench coats and biker jackets are some stables you can’t go wrong with.
Leather skirts are a surprise trend this winter. If you live in colder states you will have to get creative layering these, but those outfits end up being the best anyways!
The jacket gets it’s name from one of the main character’s, Penny Lane, in the 2000’s movie Almost Famous.
Penny Lane was a groupie with one of the most iconic fashion senses knows to man kind. Throughout the movie, Penny Lane is seen wearing the fur-lined jacket that you will be seeing all over your social’s this winter.

SCARVES
You can’t really survive winter without a scarf. There are 3 huge trends I’m seeing within the scarf community this season.
two toned scarves – very funky fabrics- embellishments/graphics
You might want to go grab a glass of wine and come back… it’s time to talk shoes.
First up, the ugg boot. It would just be wrong not to highlight these on a winter post. It feels like the ugg boot has been around for decades. This year were taking them to the next level.. and by that I mean literally taking them to the next level by adding another inch to the platform. Other than the new height, I am also predicting vibrant colored uggs to be in this winter, especially our girl cherry red.

BOOTS WITH THE FURR
Not only will these keep your feet toasty warm but they are like the entire world’s current obsession. Fur just gives off a very classy, ‘high end’ feel. I can see people layering these with super baggy denim jeans or a cute little mini skirt with tights.
As a wise woman once said… It’s giving elegant Snookie’
I have never seen something more camp in entire my life. I still don’t even really know or understand what the h*ll camp is and if I have the right definition for it. When I think of camp I think like cringily cool? So weird and ugly that it’s actually cool? If that’s the case, camp and furry shoes are synonymous. You could wear any of these shoes as an animal halloween costume or to a fashion show & be the hottest b*tch in the room.
MULES & LOAFERS
I like to call these ones beauty is pain. Just because you might have snow on the ground and below freezing temperatures does not mean that open footed shoes are going anywhere. Again, I think we are going to see a lot of fur lined loafers, ballet flats, mules ect. I also think we will see a lot of sherpa, metallic, velvet, and blingy embellishments this winter. These velvet ballet flats have my heart, UGH! How perfect for Christmas day?!
These are all shoes that I think would slay at a holiday party.
I would not complain finding a single pair of these underneath my Christmas tree. Wear with caution if you live in a state with ice.
